IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (57-3, 50 KOs) annihilated Jean-Marc Mormeck (36-5, 22 KOs), earning his 50th career knockout. Wlad knocked down Mormeck with a right hand in the second and easily controlled the bout throughout. Mormeck appeared to be on the verge of getting KO'd in Round 3. When Klitschko floored Mormeck in Round 4 the Frenchman didn't beat the count.
