Cornelius Bundrage successfully defended his IBF junior middleweight title by starching Cory Spinks in the 7th round.
Bundrage aka "K9" (32-4, 19 KOs) floored Spinks with a right hand in the first round and it was all downhill from there. Bundrage leveled Spinks again with a hard right hand early in the 7th Round. And seconds later, Bundrage dropped Spinks with another right hand.
And finally, another barrage of punches dropped Spinks to the canvas, prompting referee Ray Corona to stop the bout at 2:32. Bundrage has been targeted as one of a few fighters to face Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on September 15th.
