Lineal heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (58-3, 51 KOs) scored a one-sided sixth round KO over Tony “The Tiger” Thompson (36-3, 24 KOs) on Saturday night.
Klitschko was in command from the beginning and bullied the 40-year-old Thompson around the ring and landed most the hard shots. Klitschko dropped Thompson in round five with a big right hand. Another knockdown in the sixth and the bout was waved off.

Fury KO 5 Maddalone
Unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury (19-0, 13 KOs) scored a fifth Vinny Maddalone (35-8, 26 KOs) on Saturday night. Fury began punishing Maddalone in round three. Maddalone was cut under the left eye in round four and the one-sided bout was waved off in round 5.

In a Fight of the Year candidate and IBF welterweight eliminator, #4 rated Kell Brook won a hard fought twelve round majority decision over #3 rated Carson Jones in Sheffield, England. Brook built up an early lead, arguably winning the first 4 rounds but had to withstand a furious late assault by Jones to win by scores of 114-114, 116-113, 115-113.
