Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez unified the Super Welterweight Division with a unanimous decision victory over Austin Trout on Saturday in front of a raucous 39,247 crowd at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.  

Canelo vs Trout, one of the year's biggest showdowns, is just several hours away.

Apparently Golden Boy Promotions, promoters for WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (41-0-1, 30 KO's), wants to set up a superfight between Alvarez and Sergio Martinez (50-2-2, 28 KO's) for May 5th, according to Fightnews.com.  

The 154 pound division is one of the hottest in boxing.  

After a dominating performance against long time veteran Charles Whittaker last Friday, Gabriel Rosado (21-5, 13 KO) believes he has earned a rightful shot at any of the kingpins in the 154 lb. division, including Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.  

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (41-0-1, 30 KO) has replaced Yuriorkis Gamboa (21-0, 16 KO) on FightSaga's FAB 15 pound-for-pound list.
