Wednesday afternoon, from Inglewood, California, Top Rank, Inc. made the official announcement of an upcoming special attraction in the packed 147 pound weight division with Mexican fight legend and four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40 KOs) and former WBO Junior Welterweight title holder “Mile High” Mike Alvarado (34-2, 23 KOs) of Denver, Colorado, which has been slated to take place on Saturday, May 17th on “HBO: World Championship Boxing”.

While Main Events was gearing up for their presser in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Canadian based promoter Yvone Michel held his own gathering for the press at the Montreal Casino to officially announce WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Adonis Stevenson’s (23-1, 20 KOs) next title defense against Andrzej Fonfara (25-2, 15 KOs), which has been slated to be aired on Showtime Championship Boxing on May 24th, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
