For those of you who have never witnessed the greatness that is Norman Stoney Stone.... a true boxing legend.

Norman Stone

Profession:  Former Manager/trainer of two-time WBA Heavyweight champ John Ruiz

DOB: May 19, 1951

Origin: Boston, MA

Interesting Fact: "That people wouldn't know about me? I'm the most loyal guy in the world. If you're with me, I'm with you till I die."

Known most for being the trainer of heavyweight John Ruiz, Norman "Stoney" Stone and his fighter were a contradiction in personalities.

Ruiz was polite and soft spoken while the loquacious Stone was a brutally honest, loud, in-your-face (literally) guy.

Somehow, the marriage worked as Ruiz won a share of the heavyweight title and defended it successfully several times.
