Allentown, Pa.
Showtime
Gary Russell Jr. (C) v Tugstsogt Nyambayar, 12
WBC featherweight title

Remember when Gary Russell, Jr (30-1, 18 KO) was the hottest prospect in boxing? Freakishly fast, his lone loss is still that MD12 verdict to Vasyl Lomachenko. Russell boasts a 2018 win over Joseph Diaz (then 26-0) and a 2015 win over Jhonny Gonzalez, and might be one of the most underrated fighters in the sport. We don't hear a lot about him due to his activity rate. He's fought just once per calendar year from 2015-2019.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22

ring belt 2
Deontay Wilder (C) vs. Tyson Fury (C), rematch, 12
WBC and lineal heavyweight titles
Fury vs Wilder 2

One of the biggest fights of the year!  Wilder vs Fury 2 will be contested for the prestigious RING Magazine heavyweight title (in addition to Wilder's WBC strap).  Hence, the winner will be the real and legitimate lineal heavyweight champion, joining the bloodline of predecessors such as Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson Evander Holyfield and Wladimir Klitschko.

Although their first encounter was a fun, competitive fight, most seemed to think Fury had done enough to win. He moved and boxed well and had Wilder missing consistently. However, he was floored twice and Wilder needed both knockdowns to earn a draw and retain his title.

Deontay Wilder might be the hardest punching heavyweight champion EVER!

Amir Imam v Javier Molina, 10
welterweights

Gabriel Flores Jr. v. Matt Conway 8
junior lightweights

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 29

Frisco, Texas
DAZN
Mikey Garcia v. Jessie Vargas, 12

Julio Cesar Martinez (C) v. Jay Harris, 12
WBC flyweight title

SATURDAY, MARCH 7

New York
Fox/Fox Deportes
Adam Kownacki v Robert Helenius, 12
heavyweights

Let's rewind to 2011 when Helenius is the hottest up-and-coming heavyweight in boxing. Remember all of the comparisons to the Klitschko brothers? Remember his highlight reel knockout over Sam Peter?

Helenius, now 36, was a top 5 contender prior to undergoing extensive surgery in 2012 after snapping a ligament in his right shoulder following a hard fall while running. Other ligaments were damaged too so parts of his collarbone also needed reconstruction.

The initial prognosis for a successful return to boxing was not good and Helenius has struggled since.

Since March 2013, he's had 14 fights (11-3, 6 KO) and, prior to last night, hadn't been able to regain the luster and devastating punching power he once had.

ring belt 2
Vasyl Lomachenko (C) vs Teofimo Lopez (C)
RING Magazine / Undisputed Lightweight Championship
Loma vs Lopez

One of the biggest fights of the year! Initial betting lines feature the Ring/WBA/WBO Lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko as a 4 to 1 (-400) betting favorite, while the newly crowned IBF 135 pound titlist, Teofimo Lopez, is currently sitting as a very live almost 3 to 1 (+275) betting underdog.

Considered by many as the best fighter in the world, Loma will have his work cut out for him. Lopez is a young, motivated opponent who's explosive and hungry.

Lopez' advocates will insist Teofimo's range and reach advantage in combination with his speed and athleticism will be too much for Loma. Those who'll favor Lomachenko think the Ukrainian's superior footwork and odd angles will make it next to impossible for Lopez to sit on his shots and land the same flush punches he unleashed on Commey.
