According to Stephen A Smith of ESPN, Floyd & Co balked over Team Pacquiao's idea that a failed drug test would result in a $5 million fine.

FightSaga had previously reported Mayweather was playing mind games but now it appears Floyd wants NO fight in the event of a failed test.

ESPN's Stephen A Smith, after a Thursday night chat with TMT CEO, Leonard Ellerbe, unleashed some shocking details.

"If you fail a drug test, you have a hell of a lot more to lose than $5 Million," stated ESPN's Smith earlier today. (Video below).

"Any failed drug test automatically calls for the fight to be called off," he added.

In the video below, Smith stated, "IF YOU GET CAUGHT WITH A POSITIVE DRUG TEST THE FIGHT IS OFF."

At this moment, both sides have not agreed to this but, according to Smith, it's what Team Mayweather is lobbying for.

Is this true?

And is this why Floyd & Co rejected the $5 Million penalty?
