"While I see Peter eventually winning this fight, it's not going to be as easy as most think," states the former trainer of Terry and Orlin Norris. "Peter is going to have his hands full with Gabe for a little while in this fight because of Rosado's physical and mental durability."
Despite Rosado's underwhelming record, the hard working underdog has admittedly been learning on the job throughout the great majority of his professional career and has seemingly improved greatly over time. Though he carries a devastating loss to Abel's star pupil on his resume, "King" Gabriel does boast impressive victories over Jesus Soto Karass, Sechew Powell, and Charles Whitaker.
Throughout his three most recent victories, Rosado showed the athleticism and skill to not only box but also cut off the ring effectively and dominate his opposition in aggressive fashion. He fought intelligently at multiple ranges and eventually imposed his brand of underrated power in stopping all three fight veterans.
Though the expert trainer from Big Bear Lake, California, does recognize Gabe as a more than game opponent fot the reigning title holder, Sanchez does indeed believe Quillin to be the more talented fighter at this time.
"Peter is simply at a higher level at this point in both fighters' respective careers," insists Abel Sanchez. "Peter will have his hands full for a little while, but he's the better talent and better puncher. He should be able to beat Rosado on Saturday night."
Quillin will have to defeat the Philly native if he wants to keep cultivating the demand for an eventual and probable showdown with the current WBA Middleweight Champion according to Coach Sanchez.
"I recognize Gennady and Peter to be the two top Middleweight fighters at this time, and I do believe that a future bout between the two is possible," claims the prolific fight trainer. "But the ball is in his court. He's a co-main event fighter as it stands right now, while my fighter is a headliner on HBO.

If he really wants a fight with Gennady in 2014, then he not only has to look impressive in defeating Gabe Rosado, but he has to start letting his promoter and manager know that he wants to fight Gennady in a unification bout."
"A co-promotion between Golden Boy and K2 is possible, but he needs to tell his promoter to call Tom Loeffler as well as HBO to work something out. My guess is that he really isn't all that anxious to step foot in the ring with Golovkin, or he would tell his manager and promoter to make the fight happen.
It's easy to blame the networks and the promoters; but if the demand is there and the fighters were willing, a fight can always be made. That's entirely up to him."
