Tom Schwarz (22-0): Nov 17 opponent confirmed

Lee Cleveland Updated February 13, 2019

German heavyweight Tom Schwarz (22-0, 14 KO) faces Christian Lewandowski (12-2, 10 KO) on November 17 in Dessau (Germany).

Schwarz vs Lewandowski will be on the undercard of Robin Krasniqi vs Stefan Haertel.

Ranked No. 25 in the world by BoxRec, the 24 year old, 6'6" Schwarz turned pro in 2013 and will be fighting for the fourth time this year when he faces Lewandowski next week. And although he doesn't have any familiar names on his ledger, Schwarz is generating a little buzz in Germany.

His opponent, 25 year old, 6'7" Christian Lewandowski, is also German and is ranked No. 185 in the world by BoxRec.

Unlike Schwarz, Lewandowski has two blemishes on his record. He was stopped inside the distance in back-to-back fights in 2016 against Agit Kabayel (then 14-0) and Timur Stark (then 7-2). Kayabel, of course, sports a 2017 MD win over longtime contender Dereck Chisora.
