Red hot heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15KOs) will face Gonzalo Omar Basile (61-8, 28KOs) on February 15th at The Copper Box Arena in London. Fury last fought in April, knocking out a well-prepared Steve Cunningham (then 25-6, 12 KO) at the famed Madison Square Garden Theater in New York.

In that entertaining, fast-paced bout, the young Brit showed heart and grit by rallying back after being badly floored by a massive overhand right in Round 2 and rocked on a few more occasions.

Following his victorious U.S debut, Tyson was slated to face David Haye in September in what would have arguably been the biggest heavyweight fight in two years and certainly one of the more intriguing match-ups; But that bout was postponed and Haye vs Fury would be subsequently canceled altogether.

Fury is ranked No. 5 in the heavyweight division by RING Magazine and No. 4 by BoxRec.

So who is Gonzalo Omar Basile?

The 6'6" well-tatted Basile is a tough journeyman from Argentina who is on a six-fight win streak.  He's been victorious in 61 of 70 bouts but seven of his eight losses have come via knockout.

The only two recognizable names on his resume are Alexander Dimitrenko (then 22-0) and Artur Szpilka (then 10-0) and Basile succombed to both by knockout in 2006 and 2012, respectively.

Rated No. 95 in the division by BoxRec, the 39 year old Basile, an 11 year pro, last fought in December and won a ten round unanimous decision over Alfredo Brigido Ruiz Diaz (then 7-5-1).

Do you give Mr. Basile a chance?
