On Wednesday, February 1st, at Jesse James Leija's "ChampionFit Gym" in San Antonio, TX, the 122 pound stars of this Saturday's Top Rank co-main event put on a very entertaining workout for anxious fight fans and media in attendance.

Nonito "Filipino Flash" Donaire and Wilfredo "Papito" Vazquez Jr. wowed the numerous spectators who packed the fitness center by showing off their skills in the squared circle. Both men worked the pads and displayed their athleticism while posing for pictures and answering numerous questions concerning their February 4th WBO Super Bantamweight title bout, which is set to take place at the renowned Alamodome.

Although the two warriors will go to battle this weekend, they both have a mutual respect for one another.

"This is going to be a great fight," exclaims the hard punching Filipino. "Both of us have a lot of respect and admiration for one another but we're both willing to tear each other's heads off on fight night. I've trained extremely hard for the very best version of Vazquez because I know he would love nothing more than to win the WBO Super Bantamweight title back."

The Puerto Rican native also had very respectful words for his very dangerous opponent.

"Donaire is a great fighter and I know it is going to be a challenging fight," admits Vazquez Jr. "But I've trained hard for this bout and I am ready to win the Championship again.

Both competitors remarked how appreciative they were to receive the kind of adulation and support from the Alamo City faithful.

"I'm very thankful for all of the fan support we've been receiving here in San Antonio," stated Nonito Donaire. "I love it here and I hope we can put on an entertaining show for all of the fans."

"I'm very excited about the fight and the fans here are great," affirms Vazquez Jr. "I know it will be a very competitive bout with a lot of action and I hope the crowd enjoys it."
