Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee give birth to healthy baby boyWritten by Joseph Herron
On April 27th, at 3:22 PM, Filipino boxing icon and Congressman Manny Pacquiao welcomed the newest edition of his family to the world.
His wife, Jinkee Pacquiao, gave birth to their fifth child, Israel Pacquiao, who was born by way of "C-Section" delivery on Sunday afternoon.
Izzy scaled in at a very healthy fighting weight of 8 pounds and 1 ounce.
The glorious event caps a tremendous month for Team Pacquiao.
On April 12th, Manny exacted his revenge on previously undefeated fighter Timothy Bradley, in which the Pacman regained the WBO Welterweight title, as well as some of the momentum the future Hall of Fame fighter lost in a very difficult 2012.
After losing two consecutive bouts in 2012 to Bradley and longtime nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez, the 35 year old, eight division world champion put together very impressive back to back performances against two respected former title holders.
Although his team has been very vocal in stating that they would prefer a September bout with pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr, it seems that Manny Pacquiao will more than likely be facing the winner of the May 17th contest between JMM and former WBO Junior Welterweight champion Mike Alvarado.
Despite being somewhat of a champion in waiting, Manny Pacquiao has much to keep him busy with the birth of Israel Pacquiao.
Congratulations to Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao from the entire boxing community!!
