This past summer, famed actress Hayden Panettiere announced she and her fiancé, heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (62-3, 52 KO), were expecting their first child.
It's a girl!
Klitschko and Panettiere initially dated for about two years before breaking-up in in May 2011, citing "distance" as the reason. But they apparently remained close friends and not surprisingly got back together in early 2013.
Although they have purportedly discussed wedding plans, given the weighty demands of their schedules, the 6'6" Klitschko and the 5'2" Panettiere are seemingly in no hurry to get married.
Panettiere has reprised her role as Juliette Barnes in the third season of Nashville and Klitschko, of course, will face Kubrat Pulev in November.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Panettiere, who received a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film in 2012, is worth $15 Million USD.
Her fiancé, 38 year old lineal heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, a 1996 Olympic gold medalist and one of the longest reigning champions in heavyweight boxing history, is worth $30 Million USD according to the same publication.
Although the 38 year old Klitschko's popularity in the U.S. pales in comparison to predecessors such as Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, he's a rockstar in Europe and often fights in Germany and Russia.
And while Klitschko has moved to the U.S., he still has deep ties with and special obligations to Europe, specifically Germany and his native Ukraine.
Will this likeable, wealthy, high-in-demand, international power couple endure distance-related obstacles this time around?
