Universally feared and revered unified Middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0 30 KO) announced via the popular social media account Twitter on Saturday night that he will be facing IBF Middleweight titilist and exciting two fisted Slugger David Lemieux (34-2 31 KO) on October 17th, at the mecca of boxing, Madison Square Garden in New York.

The bout will be braodcast on HBO PPV.
Golovkin is quoted as posting on his Twitter account Saturday night:
"I will fight @lemiuxboxing in a middleweight title unification on #October 17th @The Garden & HBO PPV! #GolovikinLemiux"
This will be the undefeated Khazakstan-born Golovkin's debut on a pay-per-view platform, as well as the Montreal-based Lemieux's.
Hardcore fans of the sport are thrilled and cannot wait to see this unification slugfest as the two middleweight titilists have combined for a thunderous 61 knockouts in 69 fights as professionals.
