Was Tim Bradley the right choice?
Pacquiao vs Bradley 3
Date: Saturday, April 9, 2016
Location: Las Vegas
Broadcast: HBO PPV
Although Manny has (unofficially) defeated Bradley twice, some insist Tim is too dangerous for the 37 year old PacMan who will have not fought in over 11 months.
However, elite trainer Robert Garcia has a different take.
"I actually think for that one, I think Pacquiao’s gonna come out and do what he hasn’t done with Bradley before and win by knockout,” Garcia recently told HoopJab.com.
“I think Pacquiao’s gonna train hard and wants to look good and impress like he was doing 4 or 5 years ago,” Garcia said. “I think he is gonna come out and win by knockout.”
A knockout over a fighter as durable and skilled as Bradley who has already gone 24 rounds with Manny and has never been truly been hurt by PacMan?
Garcia is very familiar with Bradley as the former was in Brandon Rios' corner when the latter was knocked out my Brads in November.
Moreover, Pacquiao hasn't had a knockout since 2009. And unlike his previous bouts against Bradley, Manny will be coming off major shoulder surgery.
Will April's version of the PacMan be as sharp as the Manny who faced Bradley in 2012 and 2014?
The trainer of Juan Manuel Marquez, Nacho Beristain, also predicts a Pacquiao victory.
