Pacquiao vs Bradley 3 prediction: 'Baby Bull' bullish on BradsWritten by Leroy Cleveland
Former world champion and Juan Manuel Marquez rival Juan 'Baby Bull' Diaz (41-4, 20 KO) offered his prediction on Manny Pacquiao vs Tom Bradley 3.
“I think I’m gonna have to go with Bradley on this one," Diaz recently told the Rappler's outstanding reporter Ryan Songalia.
"I feel like he’s gonna be the one to have the better focus and going to dedicate himself 100% to this fight. He’s gonna be a hungrier fighter,”
“Pacquiao is on his way out. If I’m not mistaken, this might be his last fight. "
Diaz also insists Bradley's new trainer, Teddy Atlas, will have a profound impact on Tim's performance.
“I think Teddy Atlas did a great job in trying to tweak his boxing ability and really showing him what he can do, instead of going in there and slugging it out.”
With regards to Pacquiao, Diaz was quick to make reference to the presumed lack of knockout power PacMan once enjoyed.
“We’ve seen in his previous fights, he hasn’t been knocking guys out. He hasn’t been landing those crisp, hard punches like he would in the past against [Oscar] De la Hoya, Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton, all those guys. I believe it was after that [Juan Manuel] Marquez knockout [in 2012], even in that fight he was already losing his age and didn’t seem like he had that hunger anymore.”
Has the great Pacquiao been declining before our very eyes?
"I sure have seen him decline steadily. Steadily he’s been coming down,” said the Baby Bull.
Baby Bull's Prediction: Bradley via decision, so long as Tim boxes intelligently and doesn't trade.
A former unified WBA, IBF and WBO lightweight champion, Juan Diaz, in 2011, announced his retirement from boxing to attend the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Law School. He returned to the ring in 2013 and is 6-0 on his comeback.
Diaz's first fight with Juan Manuel Marquez was named "Fight of the Year" for 2009 by Ring magazine and ESPN.com. The latter won by a 9th Round TKO.
