With the staging of this past Thursday's press conference at the renowned Beverly Hills Hotel, featuring eight division world titlist Manny Pacquiao and current WBO Welterweight champion Jessie Vargas, Top Rank's promotion for their November 5th PPV event is now officially underway.
The public announcement of anticipated championship contest not only marked the beginning of TR's ticket selling campaign, but also the customary pre-fight predictions from all parties involved.

When asked about his mindset and gameplan going into the seemingly toughest challenge of his professional career, the 27 year old title holder appeared to be confident and resolute, concerning the task at hand.
"You're going to see a war," Jessie Vargas told FightHub TV. "And I'm going to do everything I can to get a knock-out. We've all seen what happens when you leave your fate in the hands of the judges, so I don't want to give them any say-so in determining the outcome of this fight. It's too important.'
Many representatives of the often intrusive boxing media asked Hall of Fame boxing coach Freddie Roach if there was any chance of the current WBO title holder defeating his fighter, Manny Pacquiao, by way of KO, ala Juan Manuel Marquez.
The seven-time trainer of the year gave a quick and definitive response.
"No f***ing way," Coach Freddie told FightHub TV this past Thursday afternoon.
During the hour long press event, Vargas told media members in attendance that he would use the November 5th effort to exact revenge on behalf of two personal boxing heroes, Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales of Mexico, both of whom were stopped by the Pacman in 2003 and 2006 respectively.
The former Lightweight fighter turned elite level trainer seemed to take great offense by the gesture.
"Tell him that he's not even in their f***ing class," Roach predicted. "He couldn't even carry their gym bag...give me a f***ing break!"
"He's not as good as those guys! He wishes he could be those guys! It's true."
"Vargas is a good, solid fighter. He's a two-time world champion, at 140 and 147 pounds, and world titles aren't given away that easily, but Pacquiao will knock out Jessie Vargas in the ninth round. It's an easy fight for Manny."
Tickets for the Pacquiao vs Vargas event at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada are already onsale and start as low as $50. The November 5th PPV event will be distributed by Top Rank, Inc. and will feature four world championship fights on the bout sheet, including Nonito Donaire and Jesse Magdaleno in the scheduled twelve round co-main event.
